Two Missouri Companies Named As Best Places To Work In 2017

Worldwide Technology and Nestle Purina PetCare have been named among “The Best Places To Work In 2017” by Glassdoor and Business Insider. World Wide Technology, a Missouri-based technology solutions provider, ranked 5th on the list, while Nestle Purina PetCare, a Missouri-based pet food manufacturer, came in 13th.

The survey asked anonymous employees to rank their company in categories such as pay, benefits and workplace culture, and then ranked the top 50 companies based on size.

An anonymous Worldwide Technology employee described the company as “extremely caring towards their employees as well as their customers. The benefits are amazing. The company thrives on making their employees happy, knowing it will make their customers happy.”

Worldwide Technology was also recently named one of the “Best Workplaces in Technology” by Great Place to Work and Fortune. World Wide Technology ranked 7th among large companies on the 2017 list, with more than 95 percent of their employees giving high ratings to the company for rewards, atmosphere, communications, bosses and challenges.

When asked about what they loved most about working for Nestle Purina PetCare an anonymous employee cited the companies “competitive salaries, encouraged work-life balance, professional development, and a great culture that makes ‘big’ feel personal and family friendly.”

With its strategic location, globally connected infrastructure, economic diversity, competitive business and labor costs, highly-skilled and hard working talent, reliable and inexpensive energy and a statewide commitment to attracting companies and investment, Missouri is a place where companies come to grow and thrive.
