And that talent pool is growing. In Missouri, we have made it our mission to foster a tech talent pool that rivals any state in the U.S. Training programs like LaunchCode and Claim Academy are delivering tech talent at an accelerated rate for Missouri employers.

A Booming Tech Ecosystem

In Missouri, tech is booming! From Kansas City, to Springfield, to Cape Girardeau and everywhere in between, Missouri’s innovation communities are pushing the envelope with new and exciting ideas.

Missouri is continuing to expand economic opportunity through investments in broadband infrastructure. This includes dedicated resources to expand high speed internet to unserved areas of the state. In fact, Missouri has long been a trend leader when it comes to fiber. Kansas City was chosen by Google Fiber as its first location, and gigabit service is available across the state due to our extensive fiber networks.

St. Louis topped the list of Ten Up & Coming Cities for Tech in 2022 from IT Resources Group
