Missouri Partnership Expands Business Recruitment Team in Kansas City

Missouri Partnership announced today that Kylee Garretson has been promoted to Director of Business Recruitment & Capacity Building. In this new role, Kylee will manage business attraction projects for Missouri, provide support to the full business recruitment team, and manage Missouri’s capacity building initiatives in communities across the state.

This new role will be based out of Missouri Partnership’s Kansas City office.

“Kylee has been an important part of Missouri’s team, supporting our global business recruitment efforts since she joined us in 2014,” Subash Alias, CEO of Missouri Partnership, said. “This new role is an important addition as we take Missouri to the next level of business attraction by providing more support to active projects and more direct support to communities preparing for their next expansion attraction opportunity.”

Kylee moved to Missouri in 2011 from Illinois after completing her bachelor’s degree. Kylee earned her Masters in Public Policy Administration with a certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership in 2015 from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She studied for her undergraduate at Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, earning a degree in Psychology.

In addition, the full Missouri Partnership board voted to appoint Debbie Dewey, President of Missouri American Water, to the board, effective immediately.
