Empire Comfort Systems, an advanced manufacturing company, announced its plans to expand, and broke ground on its new 130,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The new facility represents $10 million in investment, and is expected to bring 140 new jobs to the region.
“We’ve had many successes in the last few years with new manufacturers taking over existing buildings and manufacturers expanding in Poplar Bluff,” said Chamber of Commerce President Steve Halter. “However, we’re excited that this is our first new manufacturer with a new ground-up building in almost 30 years. I believe that Empire Comfort will be a great fit for our community.”
