Missouri-Built Chevy Colorado Named 2024 MotorTrend Truck of the Year

The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado has been named MotorTrend’s 2024 Truck of the Year. This prestigious accolade not only celebrates the vehicle’s outstanding performance but also underscores the ingenuity and skill of the dedicated team crafting it.

Performance, Engineering Excellence, Value, and Safety are examples of the strict criteria the Truck of the Year is evaluated on and the 2015 Chevy Colorado came out on top of the Dodges, Jeeps and Fords in the midsize truck category. “The Colorado ZR2’s biggest engineering headline-grabber is its Multimatic spool-valve shocks, which deliver off-road compliance and on-road ride quality second to none,” wrote MotorTrend’s Frank Markus. As consumers increasingly seek quality, innovation, and reliability in their vehicles, the Colorado is a shining example of what can be achieved when ingenuity and dedication come together.

Every Chevrolet Colorado, along with the GMC Canyon, Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana is made in Chevrolet’s Wentzville, Missouri manufacturing facility by a highly skilled and dedicated team. Missouri is also home to highly-skilled talent that delivers significant production for Ford and more than 130 automotive manufacturers and suppliers across the state.
