Arch Grants, a St. Louis-based early-stage investment company, has been disrupting the status quo of economic development with a mission to transform the economy – in St. Louis and throughout the world – by attracting and retaining extraordinary entrepreneurs.
Arch Grants works to enhance the economy in the St. Louis region through its annual Startup Competition. Winners receive $75,000 in equity-free cash grants, plus an additional $25,000 for companies that relocate to St. Louis. Plus, pro bono support services are provided for entrepreneurs who headquarter their early-stage businesses in St. Louis.
Companies that have previously benefitted from Arch Grants include Edison Agrosciences, an agtech company working to find new ways to produce rubber from sunflowers; Native Pet, a pet nutrition company that has developed a range of all-natural and limited-ingredient pet supplements; and SentiAR, an augmented reality company that is developing technology that can create holograms of a patient’s heart with the goal of reducing operating times and improving patient outcomes.
