Missouri is the nation’s rail crossroads, being served by every Class 1 railway in the nation and connected to every other mode of transportation. And Union Pacific is investing money to make sure it stays that way.

Union Pacific recently announced plans to invest $54 million in Missouri’s railway transportation infrastructure.  The investment will enhance employee, community and customer safety and increase rail-operating efficiency.

This is part of an ongoing investment by Union Pacific who, from 2011 to 2015, have invested nearly $195 million in Missouri’s railways.

Missouri’s access to world-class railways has made it a booming epicenter for commerce, and has given businesses a safe, reliable means of transporting their goods anywhere in North America – and beyond.
