Three Missouri cities among the nation’s most educated

A recent report by WalletHub shows that three Missouri cities are among the nation’s most educated. The study ranked greater Kansas City at 28 overall, with the education level ranked at 24.

St. Louis came it at 35 overall with the education level ranked at 29, and Springfield came it at 89 overall with the quality of education and attainment gap ranked at 27.

WalletHub compared the 150 most populated U.S. metropolitan statistical areas or MSAs, across two key dimensions, including “Education Level” and “Quality of Education & Attainment Gap.” It then compiled nine relevant metrics to determine the rankings.

The study was performed using data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, GreatSchools.org and U.S. News & World Report, according to the published methodology.
