Plant science startup SyMyco Inc., which moved to St. Louis from India in 2011, has shipped its first locally-made products that reduce the need for fertilizer and increase crop yield.
The product is a formula derived from Mycorrhizal fungi, which improves plant productivity and health by helping plants utilize available nutrients. It also reduces plants’ need for water and chemical fertilizer.
