The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) has approved $2.5 million in Development Tax Credits for the expansion project of Noranda Aluminum, Inc.
The credits will be authorized at the 50 percent level based on contributions of at least $5 million in cash over the next five years to the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC). The donations will be used to purchase equipment, fixtures and property improvements to be leased to the company. Approval is contingent upon final execution of a contract with the company, DED and SACC.
