Missouri beat out California and New York for growth in technology jobs in the first half of the year, according to a study released this week citing U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
The Show-Me-State ranked third on Dice.com’s top 10 list of state technology job growth, showing a 3.8 percent increase in technology jobs from Jan. 13 to June 13, compared with the same period in 2012. That translates to 1,200 new technology jobs in Missouri during the period, a Dice spokesman said.
