Morris Converting selects Jefferson City for new manufacturing facility

Morris Converting, a subsidiary of Morris Packaging, has selected Jefferson City as the location to build a new 32,000 square foot facility. The company specializes in creating packaging for the food industry and will create 27 jobs and invest $3 Million in capital investment.

This announcement will have a great economic impact on Jefferson City and the surrounding Mid-Missouri area, “ says Joe Scheppers, Chairman of the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce. “Morris Converting will help diversify our manufacturing community as well as the skills of our workforce– making central Missouri even more attractive to growing businesses.”
