Missouri Wins 2017: Ajinomoto Windsor Creates 200+ New Jobs

Today we are taking a look back at food solutions company, Ajinomoto Windsor’s expansion near Joplin, Missouri.

In April, Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc., announced it was expanding its frozen foods business with a new frozen appetizer production plant in Joplin, Missouri. The plant represented more than $39 million in capital investment, is expected to create more than 200 new jobs in the region.

“We are very excited to announce 220-240 new quality jobs for Joplin,” noted Governor Greitens. “That’s 220-240 families who will now have access to great work. We have been fighting for every single job and this investment in Joplin shows that the world is recognizing that Missouri is open for business.”
