The hunting, outdoor and sporting goods distributor Green Supply is creating 31 new jobs and growing its warehouse distribution center in Vandalia.

The company is already hiring for six of these positions, which includes programmers, sales people and managers.

“Missouri’s ideally situated for national distribution, so I’m thrilled to see Green Supply pairing these advantages with technological innovations in order to grow,” said Mike Downing, director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. “This news means improved services for its customers and more jobs created in its community of Vandalia. It’s a win-win!”

The 50-year-old, family-owned company is constructing an additional 33,000 square feet of warehouse, which brings the company’s footprint to over 120,000 square feet. This is the company’s largest expansion since opening the doors of its first building in 1967.
