Jet Midwest to touch down in Kansas City

Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) Director David Kerr visited Kansas City International Airport (KCI) today and awarded nearly $7 million in state economic incentives to Jet Midwest Airlines, assisting the company in relocating an aircraft and engine maintenance facility to the airport.

The incentive award, combined with the amendment of a previous agreement between the Missouri Development Finance Board (MDFB) and the city of Kansas City to fund structural upgrades at a KCI plane maintenance facility, will create 500 new local jobs over the next five years.
