General Electric’s aircraft leasing unit announced at the Farnborough airshow on July 19 that it has placed an order for 100 planes from Boeing and Airbus.
GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) has ordered 40 Boeing 737-800s in a $3 billion deal, the companies said.
