An Emerson business unit and Korea South East Power Co. have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on modernizing existing power plants and constructing new ones in Korea, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
The alliance leverages Emerson Process Management’s expertise in power plant automation with Korea South East Power’s experience as a developer, operator and owner of thermal and hydro-power generation facilities, Emerson said Tuesday.
