Columbia Gains Recognition for its Focus on Entrepreneurship

If you’re looking for a place to start a business, Columbia wants to be at the top of your list.

A focus on entrepreneurship has been taking hold here. To keep the growth going, a group that assists local business development recently decided to put more focus on building local entrepreneurship. The public-private partnership, Regional Economic Development Inc., or REDI, is finalizing a new strategy that will shift more resources toward entrepreneurship while continuing to work on attracting businesses to town, creating tax incentives and helping current businesses grow.
