Burns & McDonnell plans to hire about 600 workers throughout the country by the end of the year.
Roger Dick, a spokesman for the Kansas City-based architecture and engineering company, said about 300 of those new hires will work in the Kansas City area. The other half will be dispersed throughout the company’s other U.S. offices. The hires will be made throughout the company’s operating sectors.
