Burns & McDonnell is helping pursue federal dollars to go toward building small nuclear reactors in Missouri, The Kansas City Star reports.
The Kansas City engineering firm, which will help design the reactor power systems, has teamed up with Westinghouse Electric and plans to contribute many engineering consulting hours up front, saying the reward would be hundreds of valuable jobs in the state, the report says. The companies didn’t disclose financial terms.
