Alliant Techsystems Inc.has received a contract worth at least $58.7 million to provide the U.S. Army with ammunition.
The contract was awarded to Alliant Techsystems’ Integrated Weapons Systems Division in Mesa, Ariz., but the 20-millimeter training rounds will be produced at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence. That plant is managed by ATK Small Caliber Systems, a division of Alliant Techsystems.
