National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Wins National Award

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) West team received national recognition in the form of an American Planning Association award. The award highlighted NGA for their environmental planning related to the construction of NGA West’s new campus in St. Louis, Missouri.

“This is national recognition of our outstanding effort in the environmental planning category,” said Tom Bukoski, N2W deputy program director “This prestigious award is in a very competitive category and recognizes the Next NGA West team’s professional excellence and demonstrated competence in the very complex environmental planning process.”

NGA selected Missouri as the preferred home of the new $1.7 billion NGA West headquarters in 2016. Construction on the 100-acre site, just north of downtown, is scheduled to be completed in 2021.
