Governor Jay Nixon today announced that Calumet Specialty Products Partners, a leading specialty hydrocarbon producer, is planning a significant expansion of their esters production facility in Louisiana. Expansion plans include up to $40 million in capital investment and an expected creation of 21 new jobs.
“Today’s announcement is just the latest victory in Missouri’s resurgent manufacturing industry,” Gov. Nixon said. “With a highly-skilled workforce, competitive business climate and abundant resources, the Show-Me State is a natural choice for companies, like Calumet Specialty Products Partners, to invest and expand.”
