University of Missouri Announces New $24.8 Million Bioscience Laboratory

The University of Missouri recently announced plans to build a new $24.8 million plant bioscience laboratory at its Columbia, Missouri campus.

“At the University of Missouri, we are committed to improving lives through research partnerships with national agencies and industry, and the plant, livestock, genetics and policy research funded by this bill advances our reach even further,” said Alexander Cartwright, the university’s chancellor, in response to the increase in federal funds which are being used for the construction.
