Toyota said Friday that two of its Bodine Aluminum plants, in Missouri and Tennessee, would add 20 new jobs as part of an $8.4 million investment to support expanded production of the car maker’s six-speed automatic transmissions.
The two Bodine plants — in Jackson, Tenn., and Troy, Mo. — will provide transmission cases and housing parts for expansion at Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia Inc. in Buffalo, W.Va.
