Toyota Investing $100+ Million in Missouri Facility

Automotive manufacturer Toyota recently announced plans to invest $109 million in its facility in Troy, Missouri.

The investment will provide new equipment to build four-cylinder engine heads on three production lines. The plant currently has the capacity to build more than 3 million cylinder heads annually.

“Toyota customers want vehicles that are fuel-efficient and electrified,” said Norm Bafunno, Toyota’s Senior Vice President for Unit Manufacturing and Engineering. “These investments allow us to meet customer needs and quickly respond to an evolving market.”

For years, Missouri talent has driven automotive manufacturing into the future with significant investment from Ford, Toyota, and GM.

Whether it’s Ford’s award winning F-150’s and Transit vans, or the more than $1 billion investment by GM in Wentzville, Missouri – our state is a world leader in automotive manufacturing and talent.
