Top Agribusiness Insurance Firm Expanding in Missouri, Adding 200 Jobs

Specialty Risk Insurance is expanding its operations in Carthage, Missouri. The company, which offers insurance coverage related to agribusiness, commercial, and aviation, is investing $5.3 million in a new location that will support its plans to create 200+ new, well-paying jobs over the next six years.
In a press release announcing the expansion, Specialty Risk Insurance owner Kevin Charleston expressed his excitement to invest back into Carthage and continue to grow the company into a place his children will want to work.
Carthage is located in the Joplin region and is known for its skilled labor force, easy transportation access, competitive operating costs and pro-business local government.
