Missouri delivers more than you expect. In Missouri, you’ll find more of everything. More global industries. More diverse assets. More affordability. All month long, Missouri Partnership is celebrating “more” by taking a look back at some of Missouri’s biggest stories in economic development from 2020. Today, we’re checking out Plumrose USA’s new investment in Moberly, Missouri.

In February, Plumrose USA, a prepared foods and packaged meat company, announced plans to build a new bacon facility to produce ready-to-eat, fully cooked bacon in Moberly, Missouri. The facility is creating 200 new jobs in the region, and represents more than $68 million in capital investment.

“We are excited to welcome Plumrose USA to Moberly, Missouri,” said Missouri Governor Mike Parson. “The company’s decision to expand in our state is a testament to Missouri’s world-class workforce, strong economy, and business-friendly climate. Plumrose USA is bringing good, high-paying jobs to a rural community, and we look forward to working together as they continue to grow in Missouri.”
