Monett gains 11 new jobs with new produce repackaging company, DED announces

The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) today announced that Market Fresh Produce has opened a new facility in Monett. The company’s expansion project includes a $200,000 capital investment and is expected to create 11 new jobs.

“Market Fresh Produce’s commitment to expanding in Monett further validates Missouri’s pro-business environment and world class workforce,” said Mike Downing, director of DED. “The department is very proud to partner with this homegrown company and happy to see more jobs coming to Southwest Missouri.”

Founded in 1998 in Nixa, Mo., Market Fresh Produce is a produce repackaging company that serves customers nationwide. To accommodate for its rapid growth, the company opened a 16,000-square-foot repackaging facility in Monett. The Monett facility will allow Market Fresh Produce to better serve customers in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
