A new study by the Tax Foundation showed that Missouri’s tax climate is better than all surrounding states.
Missouri ranked 16th overall for the fourth year in a row. The state ranked strongly in corporate taxes, holding the fifth spot in that index. Its worst showing was in individual income tax, ranking 25th.
Of Missouri’s surrounding states, the next highest ranked was Kentucky at 19th.
