Missouri’s St. Louis region is a global epicenter for AgTech, information technology and health innovation. It is home to companies like Monsanto, the U.S. headquarters of Lacgene Technologies and Square’s second largest office in the world.
St. Louis is also home to incubators like the Cortex Innovation Community and the Danforth Plant Science Center, and has seen a large influx of companies and startups around these communities.
It benefits from its location at the meeting point of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and showcases all that the Midwest has to offer. The city was recently ranked fifth among all American cities to start a business, as well as 14th in number of women-owned businesses and first in fastest growing startup scenes in the tech sector.
