Missouri Wins 2019: Automotive Manufacturer Cuts Ribbon on Missouri Facility

All month long, Missouri Partnership is taking a look back at some of Missouri’s biggest stories in economic development from the past year. Today we are taking a look back at Faurecia’s ribbon cutting in Blue Springs, Missouri.

In August, Faurecia, a leading automotive technology company developing solutions for sustainable mobility and smart life on board, held a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new interiors production facility in Blue Springs, Missouri. The new facility represents more than $28.7 million in capital investment and is expected to bring more than 300 new jobs to the region.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Faurecia to the Blue Springs community and announce the company’s grand opening of their new interiors production facility, already bringing more than 200 jobs to Missouri,” said Missouri Governor Mike Parson. “I’m excited that Faurecia is choosing to grow its business in Blue Springs, taking full advantage of our state’s unique resources and strengths, like a business-friendly climate, high quality of life, strong workforce, and resource availability.”
