Washington University, in St. Louis, Missouri, was recently named among the best U.S. colleges in an annual ranking by U.S. News and World Report. The Missouri university took the 19th spot on the rankings, which are based on factors that indicate academic quality, such as graduation rates and faculty resources, according to U.S. News.
