Missouri University of Science and Technology’s engineering program ranked 3rd best in the nation

Missouri University of Science and Technology’s engineering program is ranked the third best in the nation, according to a report issued by USA TODAY College. The report states that two of the most popular majors at Missouri S&T, a four-year public university located in Rolla, Missouri, are mechanical engineering and civil engineering.

“While not as selective as the first two schools on this list, Missouri S&T still produces high student outcomes, making it rank high on the best value list,” USA TODAY College College stated in the report. “The average starting salary for engineering grads at this school is $60,000.”

USA TODAY College used College Factual to rank colleges based on their overal quality, and Payscale for salary data.
