Business Facilities 8th annual rankings report measures the strength of states, metros and countries in 50 categories including business climate, education, and various industries.
This year Missouri ranked 9th for auto manufacturing strength, 6th for business start-ups, and 5th for biodiesel. St. Louis ranked 4th among top manufacturing cities and 7th for lowest cost of business.
