Missouri’s economy had another great year in 2018. Missouri saw 75+ major expansions, creating more than 8,400 new jobs across the state. Companies that expanded in Missouri in 2018 included industry leaders such as AmazonNestle and Save-A-Lot, as well as companies such as Magnitude 7 Metals and Square, and many more.

And it wasn’t just expansions. 2018 saw the $66 billion merger of global agtech giants, Bayer AG and Monsanto, who announced their new global Seeds & Traits and North American commercial headquarters in St. Louis. 2018 also saw Missouri cement is position as a global leader in the aerospace and defense industries with billions of dollars in contracts being awarded to companies with a presence in the Show-Me state.

With 2018 in the rear-view and new expansions taking place in St. Louis, Kansas City and beyond, Missouri’s economy looks primed for success in 2018.
