Missouri company lands on Forbes’ first ‘America’s Best Small Companies’ list

One Missouri company made Forbes’ inaugural “America’s Best Small Companies” list released Wednesday.

The list features 25 companies that “have chosen to be great, instead of big.”

Askinosie Chocolate LLC was the smallest company to score the sweet recognition from Forbes. At just $2 million in annual revenue, the 17-person Springfield company was more than three times smaller than the next smallest company on the list. (The biggest small company on the list had $400 million in revenue and employed 1,400 people.)
