Columbia ranked in the top 10 and St. Joseph in the top 30 in Milken Institute’s 2012 Best-Performing Cities index, which examines jobs, pay and the technology sector to determine which cities are best at creating and sustaining economic growth.
Both cities improved considerably on their 2011 rankings. St. Joseph moved up 22 spots and Columbia moved up 15.
