UMB ranked 50th in the same group, banks $5 billion to $50 billion in assets. Commerce has $23 billion in assets, and UMB has $17 billion. They are based in Kansas City and have significant presences in St. Louis.
Enterprise Bank & Trust, with $3 billion in assets, ranked 26th among banks with $1 billion to $5 billion in assets. Enterprise is based in St. Louis and has branches in Kansas City.
