Four Missouri cities named ‘Best Places to Live,’ Liberty ranks 7th

Drive a quick commute northeast from Kansas City and you’ll roll into Liberty, Mo., one of this year’s best places to live.
CNNMoney released the list and puts the town, with a population of 29,100, in seventh place in the nation. The town has an unemployment rate of 7.6 percent and its school district has performed high in the state. Job growth in Liberty is 11.98 percent with a median family income of $77,429. Personal crime incidents are relatively infrequent.

In the St. Louis area, Ballwin (No. 80) and Webster Groves (No. 61) were in the top 100 cities on the list. Lake St. Louis (No. 41) in St. Charles County also was listed.
