Boeing wins $35B Air Force tanker deal

Boeing has won the $35 billion contract for 179 Air Force tankers, capping a decade of maneuvering between the world’s two largest aircraft builders, as well as between the governments of the United States and the European parliament, the St. Louis Business Journal reports.

The aircraft will be built in Everett, Wash., and modified for military use in Wichita.
