Ascension Insurance Inc. has acquired Atlanta-based Modern Services Insurance Agency Inc., the company announced Thursday.
The acquisition, which closed last week for an undisclosed amount, is the seventh since 2010 for Kansas City-based Ascension. The company plans to keep all employees. Ascension already had a large benefits business in Atlanta, with Modern Services the third business Ascension has acquired there.
