Professional Services Company Expands Underground In Missouri

LightEdge, a premier cloud hosting and colocation provider, announced plans to expand their Kansas City data center within the Hunt Midwest SubTropolis. The 20,000 sq. ft. expansion is slated to begin in early September with target completion late March.

The construction will take place immediately adjacent to their current facility within SubTropolis Technology Center. Due to high demand for colocation and private suite space, LightEdge has no plans of slowing capacity – with the means to add 10,000 sq. ft. build-outs in 6-month timeframes going forward.

SubTropolis is a 55,000,000 sq. ft. manmade limestone cave that has been renovated into an underground business complex offering a safe and secure location for companies to grow. Additional companies within SubTropolis include Adrian Steel, Knapheide Manufacturing Co., Ground Effects, Midway Ford, Auto Truck Group, AER Manufacturing, Caseco, Grupo Antolin, Leggett & Platt CVP, XPO Logistics and Clore Automotive to name a few.
