The American Academy of Family Physicians has awarded the University of Missouri School of Medicine with a Top 10 Award for its family and community medicine program. This is the second year in a row the MU School of Medicine has received this distinction.
Award recipients are determined by the greatest percentage of graduates who choose first-year family medicine residency positions. The MU School of Medicine ranked fourth in the nation in numbers of graduates going into family medicine between 2011 and 2013.
