Mizzou was ranked #8 in the U.S. and #15 in the world in impact in plant and animal sciences over the period 1999-2009, according to the Times Higher Education.
The ranking is based on articles tabulated and citation counts to those articles in the Essential Science Indicators database of Thomson Reuters.
