Missouri Agtech Company Launches Partnership To Bring Big Data To Farmers

The Climate Corp., a Missouri-based agtech company, is launching a new digital partnership with AGCO to help bring big data to farmers across the U.S. The partnership is a product of AGCO’s Fuse technology, which provides growers seamless integration and connectivity across all their farm assets — regardless of brand, and its open approach to agriculture, which focuses on helping customers optimize their farms through seamless technology integration and connectivity.

“AGCO is excited to work with The Climate Corporation to give our customers yet another choice for Precision Ag solutions,” says Chris Rhodes, director Fuse Business Development. “The Climate FieldView platform is the world’s most broadly connected and adopted farm insight and visualization platform, and AGCO is pleased to be creating a tighter connection to it.”

The partnership will provide AGCO customers the option to connect with The Climate Corporation’s Climate FieldView platform, which provides customers with real time visualization of farm data from as-planted maps to yield maps as well as access to a well-established digital agriculture platform where customers can compare data and make agronomic decisions for the next season.

The use of drones, satellites and data is transforming farming as we know it. Missouri companies are leading the way in investment and innovation in advanced farming. Big data, smart farming, input optimization, precision ag, prescription ag, biologicals, breeding, green chemistry, green pharmaceuticals – it’s all growing right here.

And its not just technology that makes Missouri the global agtech leader, its also our world-class talent. Universities across the state offer advanced plant science degrees and Missouri is home to the highest concentration of plant science PhDs in the world.
