Google win could spur data center efforts in Missouri

The announcement that Google Inc. will bring its ultra high-speed Internet service to Kansas City, Kan., helps rather than harms Missouri efforts to bring data center projects to the Show-Me state.

So says Ora Reynolds, president of Hunt Midwest Real Estate Development Inc., who put the best possible spin on news that sister city KCK, not Kansas City, Mo., lured the coveted tech prize.
