Five Missouri facilities are among Thompson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals, based on a national benchmarks study for 2009: Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, and Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis.
Northeast Regional also received an Everest Award. Everest Award winners have reached the highest level of accomplishment on the national Balanced Scorecard and have the fastest rates of long-term improvement.
The 17th annual Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals: National Benchmarks study appears in the March 29 issue of Modern Healthcare.
