Gov. Jay Nixon today joined local officials and company leaders of EaglePicher Technologies, LLC, a leading producer of batteries and energy devices, to break ground on the company’s new 100,000 square-foot facility at its headquarters in Joplin. The expansion is expected to create 171 new jobs for the region.
Operating in Joplin since1875, EaglePicher Technologies, LLC, an OM Group company, has been a longtime industry leader in integrated power solutions and currently serves defense, aerospace, medical, commercial, alternative energy storage, and oil and gas industries.
