Ameren Missouri to build solar plant in O’Fallon

Ameren Missouri plans to add more renewable power to its grid with the construction of a 5.7-megawatt solar energy center in O’Fallon, Mo.

The project will cost $10 million to $20 million, according to Bill Barbieri, director of renewable strategy, policy and generation for Ameren Missouri. Barbieri said Ameren will finance the project using a mix of long- and short-term debt in addition to equity financing.
